I'm in Milan airport, in a cafe on the Italian side of security because I can't drop my bag until 2 hours before. I thought about taking my luggage through security to test if they can see the pocket knife and other contraband but then I rememberred I don't have access to a lounge here so there's no point! The shower at JFK was very welcome (especially for ppl sitting around me). The new, scary, EES system (causing huge delays) was easy after all.
I had a nice b'fast in the First Lounge in Sydney, because I'm Platinum (BTW): I've been watching some good movies and getting enough sleep thanks to my head strap, I've tried lots of neck pillows but this is what works for me: There were some spectacular thunder heads on the decent into JFK: I'm rested and looking forward to the last leg!

Wait, how does the head strap work? Does it obscure the person behind you's (that's not a real word..) screen? Surely not? What if you want to slouch/turn sideways?

I had to add a reply to function just for you (It's great to see people interested!)
The strap runs behind the head rest, not right round the seat over that person's entertainment screen. Turning sideways? I'm not sure but the strap really goes over my eyes and it stays on quite well!
